Interwiki link testing

Interwiki links are links to pages of other projects, using a prefixed internal link style. See Help:Links - MediaWiki

Below are external links, but appear as internal links to finiki:

• ETF
• Shakespeare
• Getting Started on the Bogleheads wiki.

It's easier to read in context. For example:

Use: ...an ETF is a mutual fund

Instead of: ... an ETF is a mutual fund

To create a link to a Boglehead's wiki page, use:

• [[bogleheads:Getting_Started | Getting Started]]

• This should display a link to the 'Getting Started' page on www.bogleheads.org/wiki (the url http://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/Getting_Started)

The following are examples of using MediaWiki variables. The name of this site is finiki on www.finiki.org running MediaWiki 1.18.3

Using built-in date formatting:

• {{#formatdate:dec 25,2009|dmy}} is 25 Dec 2009
• {{#formatdate:dec 25,2009|mmmdd,yy}} is Dec 25, 2009

These might be useful for ensuring consistency in References.
