Talk:Prioritizing investments

From finiki, the Canadian financial wiki

Ready for main space? --Quebec 08:53, 12 December 2015 (MST)

I don't see why not. It is a bit sparse, but factual. In case (high probability) that most finiki editors don't monitor Recent changes, perhaps a quick heads up in wiki editors lounge on FWF to see if there are any comments/improvements. Otherwise, be bold and go for it. --Peculiar Investor 09:04, 12 December 2015 (MST)
I did the heads-up to the wiki editors. I'd say go for it, move it to Main. --Peculiar Investor 07:41, 15 December 2015 (MST)

Sidebars - is more than one necessary?

The appearance of the page looks off to me with two sidebars present, the sidebars distract from the article content. My personal preference would be only {{Getting started sidebar}}. --Peculiar Investor 14:03, 15 December 2015 (MST)

I recommend replacing {{Retirement planning sidebar}} with a navigation template and leave the {{Getting started sidebar}}. --LadyGeek 17:10, 15 December 2015 (MST)
LG, that sounds good, but what kind of naviation template do you have in mind? I.e. what would be the title of this template, and the contents? --Quebec 06:29, 16 December 2015 (MST)
Fixed Created {{Retirement planning navbox}} from {{Retirement planning sidebar}} and changed article. --Peculiar Investor 07:00, 16 December 2015 (MST)
Looks good. But will we now have to maintain the two versions (the navbox and the sidebar) separately? Or are they somehow linked? --Quebec 12:31, 16 December 2015 (MST)
They are not linked and to the best of my (current) knowledge would have to be maintained separately. That said. finiki:Navigation templates is an attempt to clarify the situation. There is also a discussion started in the wiki editors forum so we can hash this out. --Peculiar Investor 13:12, 16 December 2015 (MST)
