Talk:Recommended reading

From finiki, the Canadian financial wiki

This page did not have a category. The title contained "test," so I put it under [[Category:Development]]. A page can have multiple categories, but it should have at least one so you can easily find it. --LadyGeek 15:17, 12 December 2011 (MST)

It's probably going to be pasted over the current library page in a little while, as the main page is revised.--Shakespeare 15:23, 12 December 2011 (MST)

I've expanded the list some. Would the article Title be better as 'Books' or 'Recommending Reading'? Finally, I suggest promotion to the Main Page at this time. --Peculiar Investor 12:43, 1 February 2012 (MST)

It should probably be in Reference Material. We can call it Recommended Reading and leave the Library as is - I don't think I have the password to the Library anyway, and this way any editor can add. Put it right after Resources and Links in the Categories template. --Shakespeare 14:11, 1 February 2012 (MST)

Make it so! One question, why is Intelligent Investor under Dividend Investing? --Peculiar Investor 14:26, 1 February 2012 (MST)
Value investing is probably better. Continue. --Shakespeare 14:35, 1 February 2012 (MST)

Organization of this section may need some more work.--Shakespeare 19:37, 1 February 2012 (MST)

Agreed. It's a good bookshelf list, but it is unclear how anyone would use the information. It is pretty dry and without context. Might it need reviews/synopsis for each? Perhaps like Bylo's page it should be structured along Basic (Starting Out?), Intermediate (Deeper Understanding?) and Advanced. --Peculiar Investor 20:02, 1 February 2012 (MST)
