Category:Widgets

This is a maintenance category. It is used for maintenance of the finiki project and is not part of the knowledge base. It contains pages that are not articles, or it groups articles by status rather than content. Do not include this category in content categories.

Widgets are implemented with MediaWiki's Extension:Widgets which allows creation of raw HTML pages that can be transcluded (similarly to templates) in normal wiki pages. Widgets allow the placement of various Google documents onto a wiki page: spreadsheets, documents, forms, and presentations.

The created pages are in the Widget namespace. The security problems of raw HTML are avoided in editable wiki pages because the privilege to edit in the Widget namespace is restricted.
