Two types of cash ETFs

As pointed out implicitly by Bylo on the FWF, there are two types of cash ETFs: (1) HISA ETFs, (2) money market ETFs. The article now explains this and has been reorganized accordingly. A remaining task would be to mention this in the table of offerings, by adding a new column. Alternatively, the table could be split in two with each smaller table moved to the relevant section (HISA ETF or money market ETF). Quebec 16:15, 17 April 2025 (EDT)Reply

Also, about the table, the AUM figures that I see on the ETF provider's websites are sometimes very different from the numbers in the table (table uses numbers TSX ETF screener). For example, accoring to Ishares, CMR has $1948M in assets, not $874M. Another point is that there are some fee rebates in place so that "maximum management fee" -- which is what I think is in the table -- is sometimes very much higher than last year's MER. See the BMO money market fund as an example. In my opnion, the actual MER is more relevant, and we should get it from the provider's websites. Quebec 16:34, 17 April 2025 (EDT)Reply
