Talk:Liability matching

Ready for main space?--Quebec 17:18, 30 April 2018 (CDT)

The page is not ready for the main namespace on its own, as the reader is missing an important link to the dual-budget model. Instead, I think the set of Conventional retirement / Non-conventional retirement / Consumption smoothing pages should be moved together with Liability matching to the main namespace. The content is "good enough" - it is helpful and appears to be accurate (unless you disagree). Consider removing the {{Under construction}} templates from the retirement planning pages. Further improvements can always be made.
For consumption smoothing, I have added {{Under construction}} because of the excruciating detail and spreadsheet link that are needed to for the real-world calculations. This page can be moved to the main space with the template remaining.
Once the pages are moved, the administrative tasks to update the links, add categories, update navigation / sidebar templates, update "See also" sections can be completed.

Hum. Yes I see the problem with the dual budget model being still in a user page. I'd like more feedback on the Conventional retirement and Non-conventional retirement pages before they are moved to main space. Let's wait a bit, maybe P_I will review them. We can also ask for feedback on FWF later.--Quebec 08:56, 1 May 2018 (CDT)
The "Dual budget" internal link in "Liability matching" now points to the "Retirement budget models" user page. I think both pages can be moved to main space.--Quebec 17:57, 3 May 2018 (CDT)
I agree, and have moved the pages to the main namespace. The "See also" sections are empty. If there is no intent to use the sections, they can be deleted. --LadyGeek 18:52, 3 May 2018 (CDT)
