The Wikipedia version has a transparent background, but somehow that fact is getting lost when the file gets uploaded to finiki. Needs investigation. --Peculiar Investor 15:41, 19 November 2013 (MST)

It may be an implementation of your browser. In wikipedia:File:Replacement filing cabinet.svg, the image (top left of page) shows a white background. When I place my mouse over the image, the background changes to transparent. Except for the thumbnail (upload area), all other views have a white background. A google search indicates this may be the case, but I couldn't find a definitive website reference. --LadyGeek 18:53, 19 November 2013 (MST)
