A wiki only works if it’s built atop a vibrant community. finiki is built using MediaWiki, the same platform used by Wikipedia, so if you have used any of those great resources, your knowledge should transfer perfectly.

Contributions Welcome

finiki can be read by anyone. In the spirit of wiki sites, you are invited to help to improve what is here. Add your wisdom or correct our typos. Be bold when updating pages. finiki will develop faster when everybody helps to fix problems, correct grammar, add facts, make sure wording is accurate, etc. How many times have you read something and thought, "Why aren't these pages copy-edited?" finiki not only allows you to add, revise, and edit articles: we want you to do it. It does require some amount of politeness, but it works. You'll see. Of course, others here will edit what you write. Do not take it personally! They, like you, just wish to make finiki the best that it can possibly be.

Take a look at Starter`s Guide and the Guide for Contributors, which will help you understand how wiki editing works and how you can become an editor. Like most wikis, finiki is written with a neutral point of view, follows a code of conduct, while at the same time does not have firm rules.

There are currently over 150 articles on finiki. We could use your help improving finiki. If you are wondering where to start, how about articles in need of additional content or have problems with references?
