MediaWiki talk:Vector.css

From finiki, the Canadian financial wiki

Bulbgraph.png Idea: Any reason not to implement Wikipedia's MediaWiki:Vector.css? The /* Don't display some stuff on the main page */ section turns off the top horizontal line above the banner (that's good) and the "This page was last modified ... " information (indifferent). I'm still working through understanding the other changes. --Peculiar Investor 11:43, 10 January 2016 (MST)

Based on the MediaWiki talk:Vector.css page, all of the significant changes were incorporated into MediaWiki:Common.css. Most of the CSS properties are not used in the Bogleheads wiki or finiki. Removing the top line from the main page does not seem like a worthwhile improvement (indifferent, tending to not implement).
The talk page points to Wikipedia:Catalogue of CSS classes which is useful for tracking down template styles.
(I've echoed these comments in the Bogleheads wiki.) --LadyGeek 13:56, 10 January 2016 (MST)
